These bottles were dug out of the ground in Matthews county Virginia near Norfolk. My family and I were clearing out a section of the woods that was heavy with old objects. Most of the metal has been degraded but there are hundreds of intact bottles in the soil. Id like to see them preserved because they are aesthetically pleasing and a part of history.
We have found a number of interesting things in this area a few of the coolest can be seen below.
